Anyone have any interesting ideas for a psychological self portrait? Next big assignment and can't think of anything terribly interesting.

what do you mean by psychological?

in grade 10, we had to do a self-portrait where it was entirely gridded, but then you had to distort the grid when you actually put it on paper so you looked all wonky and crazy

Also only using primary colored pencils for this.

I think I'll do the mask idea, and instead of a void where the face should be a really creepy ring-looking face in mostly blue. Then the mask face will be in warmer tones and not look freaky. <_<
She'll ask what it means and I'll have no response! :D

I think maybe it's the green/yellow hair and the little bit of green/yellow in the face which might be throwing that off.

Hey Ainoxi, I have a question for you.
Did you get the desire to doodle and "do art" more and more as you progressed in your technical classes?

I ask because I'm doing a lot of technical learning, myself. And I'm noticing more and more how I want to be artistically creative.
