I haven't slept on one extensively, but I find them very uncomfortable! Have you slept on one before?

I find them a bit too soft. I prefer a mattress which is half memory foam, half spring. Firm, but comfortable.

yeah, Tempur is pretty expensive so I'm not sure I even want to try it, so I don;t get seduced by it

I ended up buying a tempurpedic pillow when I went mattress shopping with a couple friends of mine.

I've slept really really well ever since. I got to lay on one of those super expensive tempurpedic beds for about an hour while they took care of their mattress business and I wanted to get the whole set right then but it was like, $4,000.

I can only imagine that sleeping on it would be even more awesome.

Memory foam doesn't function as intended from what I can tell.

I have a pillow myself, and it's just flat out uncomfortable, because the ridges on the edge where you're supposed to put your neck don't squish enough so you just have this ****ing bar of foam just pressing up against your neck, feeling very uncomfortable.
