I'm confused, I'm reading the article but nothing says that Ron Paul is asking for White Supremacists to support him. Only that a white supremacist happens to support Ron Paul. Those are two completely different things.

The picture doesn't really clear anything up, either. It's a confederate flag. Those are everywhere.

Okay so

I read the article and it basically says this white supremacist dude is a fan of Ron Paul, and planned to talk to him. Then later the article quotes him on stuff that he denies saying.

This is some pretty weak junk, just saying. I'm not the hugest fan of Ron Paul or anything, but when your critical article amounts to "a white supremacist likes him and he might have said some sort of racist stuff once" I'm just not seeing how this is meaningful. Especially when RP's position is that the government should have limited authority, so it wouldn't matter if he was a racist since he wouldn't support the government enacting racist laws. He doesn't think they should have the right to.

actually, if RP is a racist, he would support racist laws.

just on the state level, not the federal.

If he were president, it wouldn't matter what he supported. The whole point is that the federal government would have no say on the matter. So if someone asked him "do you think we should pass racist legislation" his answer would be "it doesn't matter what I think, each state can decide that individually."

Ron Paul fans are well known for using false flag tactics to ineptly attack their own candidate to make him look better.
