Crystalis - Action RPG like the Ys series, except it had Ark of Napishtim's gimmicks and combat way before they thought of it. Different elemental swords with different charge attacks and all that, fun stuff.

Vice: Project Doom - Very awesome action game, it's more or less a better ninja gaiden (cutscenes included) that varies gameplay, and the main character's a badass who can use swords, guns, and grenades (and you can switch between them at any time).
