Yeah, it was a little too episodic for my tastes given what type of show it is at the start, but this season seems to be focusing more on the overarching storylines while also keeping Raylan BADASS.

As Cyclo said, the first season has some lulls, as does the second (definitely less so), but the third season is on pace to be incredible if they don't abandon this serialization. Not that I don't like some random episodes here and there that don't need to add to the overall plot, but more than half a season being like that was annoying.
