My Roommate who owns it has beaten it 3 times now which I think is crazy because I don't share the same enthusiasm for this game.

I just got to the point where I have to go and get the 3 parts of the song of the hero and I'm not sure how much more fetching I really want to do.



Is it worth it to finish the game?

You have the worst part of the game to go through, but you are so far into the game you should just push through it.

I never saw it as a fetchquest
the three parts are different enough and they change the area around enough (or even unlocked a new part in the desert section) that I never got bored

and yes it is worth it
