disagree, there's always that slight chance your opponent can come back and win. When they rage quit, you don't have to worry about that chance, and thus it's not a complete victory. There's also the matter of the opponent clearly being in an anger-driven mood and playing at their most focused, so the competition you are topping is not as great.

D.

If the people I'm playing are friends, I don't like to see them ragequit, as that means they're not having fun.

If they're strangers, I don't have much of an opinion. My opponent conceding (enraged or not) is just another way of saying "victory", at least from a competitive standpoint. (Don't really care about how systems score it.)

Depends. If you're playing against people in your house, nothing is more satisfying than making them ragequit.

If you're playing online, ragequiting feels anticlimatic.

Online, agree. Making someone ragequit means that I didn't just win, I got into his head and really pissed him off.

Against actual people, though, it's more satisfying to win.

Disagree hard. It's not even a real win. It just shows that the person is too immature to take the loss.. and that they're probably terrible at the game if they reach the point where they think there is no chance of a comeback.

Disagree

Worst memory was playing Madden online down by 10 with one minute left.

I force a fumble and return it for a touchdown. Down by 3
Proceed to recover my onside kick and score on the first play. Up by 4.
Sack the QB and force a fumble and just as I'm about to cross the goal line he disconnects.

Last time I ever played Madden online.

Ragequits are funny if you're watching though even in a spectator's position, I'd still rather have a good fight than having some salty ****er just quit in the middle.

Against friends, a ragequit means I did something wrong. Those should always be fun.

Online, usually someone who is bad enough to ragequit is also so bad that they weren't a challenge. That's not fun, unless they were so bad that I was able to start screwing around and keep winning (helicopter roadkill!)

Against friends, I dislike it even more if they ragequit because like people have said, it's supposed to be fun but I've had one guy ragequit multiple times during some games and even throw the controller in some situations and it annoys me so much because he can't take the loss. I don't think there's a lot of situations where I'm in the wrong here or made the game somehow 'less fun'.
