Will Facebook just get pushed aside like, much like MySpace? I think Google+ will start showing signs of mainstream popularity by the end of the year, but I'm not sure if it'll be able to just overcome Facebook.
I wish. Fb hasn't done anything monumentally stupid since the last chat change, and that's the only thing that really causes people to move away from it and toward G+. Timelines are stupid; I don't get why they think you want to be make it accessible for people to see stupid things you posted 4 years ago; that only creates incentive for me to not post and/or delete old posts-plus, I still can't figure out how to see all the old info on timelines. Sadly, the gradual roll-out of the feature does a good job of abusing the "oh I'll move to G+ when everyone else does" mentality by minimizing the ability to group in rebellion and overcome that mentality.
Can't remember if I even have a Google+ account (think I made one when it was brand new), but maaaan the Facebook Timeline is lame. I've never had a problem with Facebook's moderate site layout changes, but the Timeline is just a huge mess and gives me MySpace vibes. You don't want MySpace vibes.

I think there will be a new social network for every generation. The generation below us will flock to Google+ just as I flocked to Facebook while in college.
Will I ever get a Google+ account? Meh, probably not. All my friends are on Facebook anyways.
