And I won't be able to get a new one until I get paid in 2 weeks, ****. Time to dust off the PS2. Thinking I'll play Metal Gear Solid, or Final Fantasy 7, Tactics, or X. Never actually beat X.

Yes, they are standalone stories. Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 are two of the PS2's best games, period.
