however it was lazy HD job so I dont' know if I can really recommend it. Plus after playing the Wii version it was hard to go back to normal controls for RE4
A lot of peoples problem with Resident Evil 4 HD was it didn't have a graphical overhaul like the Halo Tenth Anniversary edition. It just was an HD upgrade with nothing done to the textures. It looks superior to the other versions, but it's not what people expected. I honestly think most people think HD conversion means redoing most of the graphics.
On topic. Just watched the trailer, and wow. It looks very impressive. Should be a quality action game and probably will be more scary than 5. Unless it get's delayed I will for sure be playing it November 20th.

If you can read this I've momentarily stopped lurking.
Multiple campaigns that span different areas and maybe even explore different gameplay scenarios? I'd be more afraid they're biting off more than they can chew!
And the confident release date...not sure if that's good or bad.
pjbasis posted... How does this game look unambitious?
As in, the story and characters and overall mission of what the game is, it's unambitious. I mean, not surprising for number 6 in a huge franchise, but it's exactly what one would expect. Plus before they made it sound like RE6 would be a new era, starring new characters, now it's back to using the old protagonists. "Like Racoon city all over again" indeed.
Ha, I mean I'm not crapping on it if its what fans want that's cool. I'm sure it'll be solid, and I'll enjoy it, but when RE was out it was new. RE4 was new. By RE4 and RE5 we'd played as every main protagonist twice and all the loose ends were tied.
This is a pastiche of all that's old, but it still looks fun.
