I get that, but it is just called a 70 star run, not legit win run. To me it seems like you would be faster doing Red Coins than Tricky Triangles, since you have to get go by 6 of them anyway.

BLJ to get up the stairs w/ 69 Stars and using the last set of Bowser Red Coins as Star #70 really would defeat the entire point of a 70 Star Record even existing.

if he was going to take out a star it'd be ttc 100 coins. but the 70 star rules are simply beat the game as fast as possible WITHOUT BLJ. otherwise he could also save time by doing Bowser in the Dark World first and then getting the island star in BOB with the Wing Cap, which is faster than wall-kicking to it.

Yeah, he probably went to take a shower and cry. I would, god that sucked. He was so far ahead, I don't get why he did not just go to the (much easier) Jiano strat for crossing the blocks right there...

Sig isn't going to quit 70 star until he gets sub-50. I don't know if he could have gotten it like that, or if he could, whether he knew he could. Also, he has been amazingly consistent with that particular trick lately compared to back in the summer or earlier.
