Still need some Act 2 Red Rings, but I've done all the challenges and S ranked all the levels

City Escape> Chemical Plant> Sky Sanctuary>Planet Wisp>Speed Highway>Green Hill>Seaside Hill>Rooftop Run>Crisis City

Why does Sega still acknowledge that Sonic 2k6 happened and why did we not get a Rush or Advance level instead?

Crisis City had the most cheap deaths and ground pounding is a dumb mechanic for a Sonic game. They bothered including Blaze, so why not throw in a Rush level?

I really never said it was, you're reading too much into it. I would have preferred an Advance or Rush level, that's it. I've still played the game enough to get S ranks, do all the challenges, and I'm going to get all the red star rings, I'm obviously satisfied enough with it.

I haven't played 2K6, but loved Crisis City in Generations.

Also, I have a theory that 2K6's internal retcon is what created the Time Eater in the first place. When its events were wiped from history, they spun off into another dimension where they gradually faded away, leaving the Whitespace around one last fragment of reality- Crisis City. The Time Eater is a gestalt formed of all the people who faded away.

It thus allowed itself to be captured by Robotnik, as part of a plan to draw Sonic and parts of the real world into the Whitespace, restoring Sonic's memories and allowing the remnants of the 2K6 timeline to return to reality with the rest.

Are you sure it was me because I don't remember doing so, but I could be mistaken. To me it does make more sense to try and brush it under the rug, since Silver is nothing special as a character anyway, but it's their choice and if they make good stuff after the fact, I don't care all that much.
