I still am not quite sure what my opinion is on that episode.

When you're watching Fly, just remember that it's not like other episodes. It is incredibly artistic, almost to the point where you have to be paying complete attention to it to even remotely understand it. I remember watching a certain scene in Fly (though I can't remember what it was), where I thought it was absolute bollocks during the watch. Then, I closed my eyes for a second, and all of a sudden the scene had an entirely new meaning. It was insane the way Fly could just become something so different when you take a look into the artistry.

Another thing you should note about Fly is that it's easy to get a headache watching it. Not because it's a bad episode, but because of how many ideas it is riddled with and how complex it is. Soon enough your head will fill to the brim and the rest will just look like nonsense you. Just turn it off and watch it the next day.

If you don't like the show, you'll definitely at least enjoy listening to the dialogue, and picking apart the episode itself and all of the artistic values that go into making it the complexity that it is.

the episode was amazing. it was the greatest filler episode ever.

the scenes are so long and the actors absolutely nail it, especially Jesse. I keep expecting the writers to let the joke go and they never do. it's a scene absolutely devoted to Walter and Jesse, the two best characters. no Skylar, no Hank, no Walter Jr, no crappy sister whose name I forget to drag it down. just a pure character-driven episode with the two characters at their best.

so good. so pointless too.

I, for one, appreciate EndOfDiscOne's post. It may be old, but its still funny!

I found Fly to be completely boring to sit through. I know Bottle episodes can't always be avoided, but I couldn't stand this one. Just a whole bunch of nothing happening.
