Board 8 > Anyone here play System Shock 2?

Is it worth picking up? I've heard good things but I'd like some more opinions.

I've played about 5-10 hours only but I really enjoyed it.

Combat is the typical terrible stuff you get from 2000 games (like Deus Ex), but the atmosphere is really great and the controls/graphics have aged pretty well. It really is pretty much Bioshock in space but with a more complicated inventory and stats/skills system. It's a good experience so you can appreciate the evolution in the games.

Yeah, it's pretty much like Bioshock (right down to the regeneration pods), but scarier and with a better story

In fact, I remember reading something awhile ago that going in, the programmers of Bioshock's philosophy was 'Let's do System Shock 2 over again'
