Note: I will not be reading route 3 because I've been informed that it contains a dangerous amount of purple haired girl whose name I forgot. I kinda hate her and every scene she is in, so I'm not even going to touch that route.

Characters:
I nicknamed characters a lot during my readthrough so you are going to have to guess who they are. I remember their real names for the most part but WHAT'S THE FUN IN THAT.
5)Jersey Shore.
As soon as I saw his sprite, I thought "wow, this guy is a douchebag." And every single little thing he said just confirmed that. Every time he opened his mouth all I could think of was this:
Dude is just so hilariously cartoonishly douchebagy I can't hate him. If he had a mustache, he'd be twirling it. But he doesn't. And if his sprite was just a bit different, he'd be fist pumping and going to clubs.
He is such a douchebag he is actually fun to read. I hate him so much it comes full circle back into ironically liking him.
So he's Jersey Shore.
Except I just hate Jersey Shore, the show.
4)Rin
See, I don't even have a nickname for her. She's just...not an idiot. And that made the whole romance in route 2 much less painful than the Twilight/Star Wars episode 2 romance of route 1 where it was "SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND HER SKIN IS SMOOTH UNLIKE SAND WHICH IS ROUGH" or something.
Nothing that special about her but she's actually entertaining. So hey.
3) Arthur Dent. I'm fairly sure a lot of people hate this fella, but I can't hate him. He is just so...borderline apathetic that it's kind of funny. He reminds me of Arthur Dent for obvious reasons. It's actually funny instead of infiuritating. I mean I suspect that if I hadn't called him "Arthur Dent" the entire time in my head while reading I could have been upset by some earlier events, but keeping in mind that he's like Arthur Dent I was just like "Oh Dent you." And I love him.
2)Vance The nickname comes from a detective novel most of you probably haven't read, so I'll sum up the detective in question:
This detective in question is a dick to absolutely everyone. Sometimes he has a reason, sometimes he doesn't, more often than not he just wants to be a dick.
He is intelligent, witty, but above all, he's a dick. You know that there's a lot more to his character than that, but if somebody asks you what you remember about him, the answer is "he's a dick. A hilariously entertaining dick."

What is there to hate? She's basically nonexistent in the first two routes. And what you see isn't really representative of her real character.
Haguile misses out on the most interesting and best route with the bestest ending.
It's the only route I really like too.

You don't understand. I just hate the fact she exists. It's completely irrational hatred that I'm sure will irrationally continue if I read route 3. Like, I'm sure she has a great backstory and all. But I wouldn't care for it at all because just about anything she does makes me hate her.
Not trying to be a douche or anything but you should probably read HF before making a topic ranking characters or whatever since you don't have a full handle on a lot of them without reading it.
Anyway 1 - Lancer 2 - Archer 3 - I actually don't have a solid idea since I haven't read Hitchhiker's Guide. Gilgamesh? 5 - Oh this is Gilgamesh
But hey I'll remake the rankings when I play it. I just...don't expect it to change that much. My rankings stayed pretty much the same from the first route to the second one, at least. Only thing that changed is that Sheamus and Vance switched positions.
Gilgamesh would probably have gotten the Jersey Shore nickname, but by the time he appeared I was already calling the other kid Jersey Shore so I couldn't change it.
But when they teamed up on route 2...man, that was the ultimate Jersey Shore team.
The story only gets more epic moving into Heaven's Feel. FSN just got better and better as it went on in my opinion, can't imagine wanting to stop after UBW.
I kind of got bored with the setting/plot by the end of route 2, to be honest. I can't imagine myself going through another route with the same cast in the same setting, even if the plot changes.
I'll read route 3 eventually but "ehhhh." Not really burning to do it or anything.
It's the impression I got from him, at least from the first route. Like "he's so apathetic he can't even think." He eventually changed a bit and started having emotions but every time he wasn't risking his life he was still like "Yeah okay."
The way he was just like "...okay oh hey magical stuff" in the first route was just so...Dent.
He's so Dent.
And yeah I know probably no one else sees him the way I do and I know he's unpopular as hell everywhere.
