Were you playing on hard mode or something? That was one of the easiest boss fights ever. Maybe I just lucked out.

Shadow was pretty easy, Metal Sonic was a joke, Silver is more of a jerk but still easy.

Also I was kind of wondering why the hell Rogue is all of a sudden considered Sonic's "friend" but Shadow isn't? Did Tails hire a stripper for the party or something?

Even though Shadow isn't at the party at the start for whatever reason hes there at the end encouraging Sonic. As is Silver, so I guess they're seen as conditional allies to Sonic rather than friends.

And yes it did take me a while to figure out the pattern to that boss as well. Assumed it was a survival race at first that ramped up in difficulty, you don't really know whats what until you see Shadow method of powering up and filling his bar. Probably something that would have been more obvious if I had turned on omochao

Oh so would you say they're... rivals? As in what Robotnic isn't to Sonic? Any yeah, turning on Omochao is for teh kiddies who are playing their first Sonic.

I would say so, as I recall in every game Shadow has appeared he's both fought against and alongside Sonic at different points.

I honestly can't think of a counterexample. SA2, Heroes, Battle, and Generations are the only games with Shadow I've played though. Also, very nice touch having missing posters with Mighty and Nack in the backgrounds of some levels.

Played a little of this game.

2D Sonic felt pretty good, pretty similar to old 2D Sonic.

3D Sonic was nothing like old 3D Sonic, and augh I hate it.

Shadow was really obvious... the big flying pink orb that the camera zooms in on

Silver, on the other hand... I ran in a loop for like 4 minute before I realized what to do

Silver is easy. Even when it's not obvious how to beat him.

Until he does the METEOR SMASH s***. Died to that so many times on hard since there's no rings in that section to keep alive on.

Oh and Generations is the best Sonic game since a long effin time. I haven't actually enjoyed going through a Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2. And the lack of spin dash is fine since they make up for it with the boost. It's just something you have to get used to.

I was actually just thinking this. They don't advertise it very well so unless you go looking for the information or happen to stumble across the info you wouldn't even know. You sort of expect the handhelds to be different, but inferior, but the console differences surprised me.
