Almost every Halo 3 map pack, for example, has its own page (the free Cold Storage map being the exception), yet Mortal Kombat's added characters don't. Just for examples.

People are more likely to talk about a hugely popular games map packs than they are like to talk about an added character in a fighting game.

New levels and maps are largely self-contained, so you can write a strategy guide that solely covers the DLC content.

Fighting game characters don't stand alone- they interact with vanilla characters (usually violently), so it makes sense for all the strategy guides to be lumped together so they can cover all the combinations.

And that's the best reasoning I could come up with.

I'd say there isn't really a good reason. I'd suggest merging all DLC into a game, and maybe having a separate header (DLC guides) if needed.

Alright, explain the Ancestors Character Pack for ACRev having a page in a game where the character you're playing as has no gameplay effect at all. <_<
