I started off just picking options that I didn't the first time around but realized I was on the fast track for the MANLY PICNIC so I had to take some evasive action.

I don't know who to pick next. I picked Rin first since she was my favorite in the Act 1 demo, but if I just follow my ranking in descending order then I'll enjoy it less and less as I go on. Maybe I'll do Emi route next to get it out of the way, save Lilly for last, and then just do Shizune and Hanako in random order in between. Oh yeah and loldead path too of course

Yeah, I'm trying to mix it up a bit based on my original act 1 impressions. Started with best Rin, went with Emi for above reasons, probably Shizune next, decided on Lilly/Hanako order later, and finally the hidden Wahaha~ route. Shut up.

something else I noticed during Rin's path is there are a few times where the choices don't lead to new scenes but will actually cause pretty different dialogue in scenes. Like when you're with Nomiya and Sae and can ask about supporting Rin or about why he stopped doing art. You can't understand the full depth of their response there until you've seen the result of both choices, yet they both count as the same scene for the Library.

Oh god. Speaking of same scene different dialogue I just realized that subsequent visits to the Shanghai will change depending on whether you went with Shizune and wahaha during act 1. Damn you 100%.

If I saw a list of all the choices I could tell you which ones I picked that led me to that scene. I can't remember all the choices off the top of my head though.

Emi's isn't as bad as I expected, in Act 4 now. Much simpler, easier to handle mentally/emotionally than Rin's, at least.

Okay yeah that was almost childish in its simplicity. I can't say I actively disliked it, but it will probably be my least favorite. Hisao must be mentally disabled too, if he couldn't draw the proper conclusions about Emi's father. Also it seems there's not a bad ending on this route, or something.

Definitely a good move. It was very well-written.

I like how the nurse never gets a name. Also what was with the whole stolen books subplot in Emi's route, I mean if you were paying attention you know it was Kenji, but that whole thing never went anywhere at all.

Seriously, where are they? If you're going to make an H-game with a character that uses her feet for everything, the least you'd expect is some foot to penis stimulation. But nope, instead we're treated to weird, awkward sex scenes with terrible dialogue all but assuredly written by virgins.

They took a novel concept and failed to take it all the way.

Even without the porn, it's still a terrible game. They didn't want to fetishise disabilities even though the source material was obviously fetishistic. This makes for a very dull experience.

Oh, I found Emi's bad ending now. You have to eff up two separate choices to get it and it doesn't lead to a different scene, just different dialogue in a scene you can end up at otherwise.

Yes (but there are none right now for the full thing). However, technically speaking no one other than 4LS is allowed to make a translation without their approval, since the game is licensed with CC-No Derivative. (technically speaking I think that means you're not allowed to make fanart too? lol)

Surprisingly, not really. It just sorta... happens for no reason. (like, the first time I got to it I was completely confused as to why that was happening) Like... in hindsight it... sorta? makes sense (but in a... completely non-logical way), but you would have needed to have viewed another half hour of content (at least) after that point for it to make that much sense.

Like, if I told you WHY it sorta made sense, now that's a major spoiler because it changes how you view EVERYTHING.

Addition: Also, after making the obviously bad choice, the bad end isn't particularly the greatest and while the general take-away message for that bad end makes sense, the particular circumstances... don't.

Also there's something I didn't like about the first H scene of that route but I can figure out no way of bringing it up without spoiling it, so yeah. I'll bring it up after more people have finished all the routes. (doubly so after getting a bit into Lilly's route where my suspicion's confirmed)

And yeah, I'm fairly sure I should not have played that route. It's good but it just rubbed me the wrong way I think because I had a bunch of preconceived notions about how things should've went (but I had a bunch of those with Rin's and I was very pleased when they were all completely shattered, but I felt that was very Rin appropriate so I dunno).

I'm doing Shizune's route right now with Lilly and Hanako on deck and wasn't sure what order I would do them in but I WILL TAKE BIO'S ADVICE TO HEART and save the blind giantess for the end.

Already decided to save Lilly for last since she was my second favorite! Can't imagine her story will reach the level of quality of Rin's though!

Just got into Hanako's path. Looks like they added a bit more to the end of Act 1 that wasn't there before. I seem to remember it abruptly stopping in the tea room. Guessing that Lilly's Act 1 is extended a bit too. Nice that their paths in Act 1 are exactly the same until 1 final choice, so I can just keep that save game handy for when it's Lilly time.

Every post I make must be crafted to provide maximal additional utility after the said event has been reached! (thusly everything must be spoiler-free, though I still maintain what got said before was pretty non-consequential in the grand scheme)

Just finished act 3 of Lilly's route so far. It's very good, but so far nothing's wowed me like... pretty much all of Rin's route. But unlike Rin's or Shizune's this has been rolling out pretty much like I expected it to.

Finished Shizune route. Was alright, but really nothing special. Felt like it should've had more stuff happening, and the romance was way too rushed. Misha parts were better than other stuff, but still not amazing. It'll be a bit of a shame if nothing else can match up to Rin.

Didn't just lose to a nice guy. I lost to SuperNiceDog in the guru.

Finished Lilly's route. The ending is... really good. I think overall the entire route is really immersive (and I can't really pin down why). Like, I knew where everything was going to go and I was still so swept up even when things turned out exactly like I expected them to.

Not as good as Rin's route though. I think a big part is that Rin had that really good bad end that showed a completely different side to her character. (Lilly doesn't seem to have any additional scenes, so I think everything else is just minor dialog stuff and if it abruptly ended any earlier it'd be really unsatisfactory as a bad end)

Also, the events in Lilly's route really put a weird context for one part of Shizune's though. It also just... does not make sense how anyone initially acts in the United Nations scene, unless I mismatched up events? False Cadence should've corresponded to United Nations (give or take a few hours), right?

Should add, Shizune's dad was the best part of her route. What a badass.

Also, do any of the other routes ever say what's wrong with Misha? There's a few hints (sleeping extra, can't climb stairs), but it seems like it was never stated.
