I got this game from Gamefly and I haven't the slightest clue what's going on. I figure before trying to figure out what all these gauges are I'll have to learn some combos or something.

So for Kula, King, Yuri, Athena, or Takuma, what are their basic BnBs or gameplans?

Kula-

2B>2B>5B>623C (low confirm)
j.D>5C>6A>214B>6D>623C (Jump in combo)
I forget what her drive mode comboes are but I'm 100% sure it's something into Hurricane kick
Use her strong oki if you get a knockdown.
Try not to be on Defense ever if you can help it. Kula sucks hard for getting out of pressure despite having a DP.

King-
2B, 5B, j.CD, j.C, j.D, j.B, far D and far C are all amazing pokes/spacing tools
While her airfireball has way less recovery then her ground fireball it doesn't actually help you zone like the ground ones do sadly.
Her Neomax is pretty fast like 4th fastest one in the game after Andy, Robert and someone else.
EX Trap shot is invincible and the normal ones have weird hitboxs as well that sometimes work.
The stupid looking super is invincible but doesn't have much reach. If they are on top of you it's useable for a reversal.
63214B has amazing combo potential.
3D is cancellable even by itself. so you can throw out random ones and just special cancel it on block to make it safe.
2B>2B>5B>3D>63214B>623D is BnB pretty much.
j.C>5C>3D>blahblahblah is jump in
The Tornado kicks are fairly safe on block if you space them.

Yuri.
Your playing a slow-ish character with every option under the sun. Enjoy being a steamroller if you get in at all. The Divekick is pretty much the most annoying thing ever, the Saifa move can jungle for days with EX>C>A version combo string, Her DP is not invincible (oh noes.), her dp+K>grab follow up has anywhere juggle (Amazing thing to have.), Your damage output is high, IIRC the ass is overhead but can't combo into anything outside of drivemode.


Athena...


I like this combo video. Other then that she is a Shoto without a real DP(Psycho sword is a joke.)+a command grab with no range.


Takuma-
Fireball is strong, It's not over yet Command grab is awesome, I'm not really sure how to play him but I know how to combo with him. Try these.

Midscreen.

Takuma:372 (j.C>2C>1.6D>1.6B>646C)
1 Stock
Takuma:310 (2B>2B>1.6BD>1.6B>646C)

Pretty sure you can add a 6B after the 2C but I don't know how to do it.
