she's the worst female! on the bright side for her, she's still miles above ken. he's the only horrible character between the two games.

rise is a pretty good female, obviously she has nothing on chie but she's better than naoto and way better than yukiko.

I thought Rise was adorable. Even the crying to some extent.

Yukiko was nominally good, though a bit too shy.

Chie was fine when she wasn't flipping out for literally no reason. Which happened a bit too often.

Naoto just kinda sinks every scene she's in.

Worst female characters in P3/4 are Yukiko, Yukari and Rise. Rise's mostly just annoying and not very interesting. Yukari's too busy being mean to everybody most of the time to come off as likable. Yukiko causes a lot of trouble for the male party members either due to being a complete moron or intentionally doing it. Either way she's bad and her awful voice doesn't help.

Oh, on an unrelated note, is there a reason why P3 characters have to use evokers and P4 characters don't?

The P4 characters just smash a tarot card. Probably just a style thing.

I always thought about it like this. the P4 characters actually awaken to their persona, but the P3 characters never do, so they need something to force it out which is what the evoker is used for.

although really, Leebo's probably right and it's mostly just a style thing.

Yeah I've been thinking about that. I know they take place in the same universe but the rules of how it all works seem different between the two games.

i think it had more to do with the fact that a kid's playing persona 3, parents walk in to see the kid's character shoot themselves in the head, game generally loses sales because of that factor

also persona 3 and 4 were great, i liked p4 better

but the grindy/repetitive nature of the game was still something that you had to gloss over, as with most rpgs. it helps to take turns with friends...

Both games are rated M in North America, so I can't see that mattering at all, and I doubt they cared about something like that in Japan.

She does all kinds of mean stuff to the guys really. Slapping Yosuke in the face when he asked her to study with him, putting the guys in THAT room at her inn and somehow forgetting the bathing schedules at her own inn. They can be seen as careless accidents, but I just refuse to believe she conveniently forgot what room that incident happened in. She pretty much just spaces out and then ignores the guys (mostly just Yosuke) or gets them into some kind of incident her paying attention and not being stupid would have avoided (the inn room and bath).
