What IS Dungeon Defenders? Fun multiplayer tower defense-ish game. Don't like tower defense? Then you can build a powerhouse character instead and just let other people in your group worry about pesky things like defense! Persistent levels, multiple classes, more equipment than Borderlands, and all in in stylish little package. Also it currently has Santa and an evil snowman!

I'm up for helping out with it tomorrow sometime. I put all my points into towers so 1 lightning+1magic missile at each of the spawning point keeps them at bay all 10 rounds. Then you only have to worry about flying guys, and a missile tower or two at each tree when placing presents takes care of that. (First couple rounds you don't have enough points to place enough to block all, but they come slowly enough then that it isn't a problem.)

Yeah, the first time I ran the mission was with three randoms and I had no idea what was going on. The map doesn't label spawn points so I just built by the trees but everyone else was starting rounds too quickly / wasting DU on their Gas Traps as a level 10 Huntress so I couldn't do it alone.
Probably could solo it actually... maybe will try sometime today.

No amount of planning will ever replace dumb luck.
Pretty lame though. They really needed to show monster spawns and the trees on the map in the build phase so you have some sort of idea what's going on. Plus when the boss wave comes it clears out all of your towers and gives you a minute to build... without any indication of where you want to defend.
I think I'll pass on getting back into the game, unfortunately.

Yeah, I really don't get why they don't show at least the spawn points on the map. And the first time losing to the boss was so frustrating because of having no idea what is coming or where.
