Oh and I'm surprised that Jinbe didn't join the crew officially yet. He will later on. Dammit. I was already tired of waiting for him to join the crew, now I gotta wait longer.

I'm doubting whether Shine can answer anything I can't after I was watched and read everything of One Piece during the later half of 2011, though yeah, maybe he hasn't seen the topic.
I really thought Jinbe would join too, but I think the main problem is that his bounty is higher than even Luffy. If Luffy goes up against Big Mam and her crew, their bounties are sure to raise after beating a Yonko, and then I think Jinbe will join. I'm not sure what his so called business is, but I guess it could hae something to do with the protecter of Fishman Island. Maybe we'll know better when Jinbe finds out what Luffy just did.

Easiest bracket ever, yet we all failed! Well except SuperNiceDog, of course!
I didn't mean that SHINE was an expert on One Piece (he kinda is), I just thought it was weird he hasn't shown up yet because he's usually involved in topics like these. Not because I want him to answer my questions, you're doing a perfect job of that.
I forgot about Jinbe's bounty being more than Luffy's. That could be a problem, yeah. Obviously he's gonna join, so people who are against it need to start getting over it now.
It's quite possible I will go back and watch all the episodes I missed. See here's the thing, I stopped watching after Thriller Bark because I go through phases. Like my anime/manga phase lasted a long time, then I got tired of of that I guess and only stuck to reading One Piece because it's too awesome to not keep up with. But I got heavily into comics instead. Now that phase is dwindling and I'm back into a full out One Piece mood.
I can't believe just how freaking amazing this series is. It has pretty much EVERYTHING. Fantastic characters, story, setting, enemies, progression, comedy, drama, emotions, so much. Oda is a god damn genius and I wish he was immortal. He should be the ruler of the world tbqh.
Anyway, the part after Thriller Bark, with Duval, I think I already watched that too. So what episode does the Archipelago saga start?

I really think that Zoro actually still has a functioning eye, he's just milking it to be a badass. He's gonna get in a tough spot and open it finally and it'll be like a power up. There's probably a sharingan in there or something.

The batman villians all seem to be one big joke that batman refuses to laugh at - SantaRPG
That thought actually crossed my mind too. I honestly hope that's not the case though because ripping off a character from Naruto isn't exactly badass.

Maybe it's more like Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach, who covered his eye so that he never really was at full power, because no fight was a challenge to him.
Luffy While swordsmen are usually my favorite types of characters, Luffy is just too awesome not to be everyone's favorite. One of the absolute best lead characters in any anime or anything ever.
Zoro As I said, swordsmen are usually my favorites. Zoro is one of the coolest and most badass swordsmen ever. Even more badass now with the scarred eye.
Sanji The monster trio is of course the best part of the Strawhat crew. All three of them are exceptionally awesome. Sanji is a cook that only uses his legs to fight, and it's always a blast to watch his kick techniques. His rivalry with Zoro is always amusing too.
Brook If you had asked me only a few days ago, I'm not sure Brook would be as high as he is now. I don't know what it is, but I just suddenly started loving him way more than I used to. He's just so hilarious, and his voice is wonderful. His entrance in Thriller Bark to save Robin and Franky from the spider was amazing ). Yo-hohohooo, yo-hohohoooo. So good.
Usopp He used to be the most cowardly of the bunch, but always acted more manly than he was, because he dreamed of being as manly as he pretended. Now he is manly. I've always liked him, but it's hard to deny that he got much better when he invented his Sogeking personality. He's a great source of comedy in the series, but the amount that he's grown is probably the biggest of all the Strawhats (unless you include boobs).
Franky He's the only one I liked more pre-timeskip. Still, he's a great character. He's an older and more experienced member of the crew (along with Robin), has a lot of knowledge and knows how to keep calm when others are freaking out (mainly Usopp and Chopper). He's also the reason the Strawhats have one of the best pirate ships in the world.
Chopper He's the dumbest next to Luffy, but only when it comes to common sense. He has a valid excuse for that at least, since he's not actually human, so he doesn't necessarily understand human traits. Like he can't always tell them apart or recognize lie from truth. Sometimes it gets annoying, but not often. It's usually amusing in some way. Regardless of that, he's an excellent doctor, and even though he's always the first to get scared along with Usopp, he shows tremendous courage and ability when the time calls for it.
Robin When she first joined the crew, I thought it was awesome because it was unexpected and she seemed really powerful (at the time). Then while everyone else was growing and changing, she stayed the same. She was kinda boring. Until Enies Lobby, when she finally had her big character development time, and she got a whole lot better. And I think she's gotten even better still, she's really found her place among the crew and even has a unique sense of humor that I find very refreshing. She's also the most calm and collected member for the most part.
Nami One of the longest running characters of the series, she was pretty much there from the beginning. She's grown exponentially in both character and boobs. I don't consider the latter as important as the former. Boobs are nice, but there is such a thing as too big. Now she feels the need to only wear a bikini top, which I find silly. Especially with Sanji losing a ridiculous amount of blood every time he looks at her, you'd think she'd be decent enough to cover up a little more so as not to kill her crew mate. Honestly she's a great character but the weakest of the bunch, I don't have as many good things to say about her as I do the rest.
Brook's running gag is humorous to me, even more so when Chopper ruined it for him and he got all depressed. He's hilarious. All of them are great though, you should be able to accept any ranking of them.
ShadowHalo17 posted... I find all this Robin love nice, because I remember when people used to hate her.
Well maybe not hate, but not like as much.
Now, this is kind of a broad subject, but when people say that kinda statement its never true. "People used to" means you saw some people post that opinion before. Going on a One Piece message board, you'll find everybody likes different characters, always been varied always will be.
Same with everything pretty much, there's never been a common consensus on these things.
Sanji and Nami are my top favs, personally I'd put Robin probably at #5 after Luffy and Zoro, all Strawhats are boss. (edit: ha oh yeah, I also posted a ranking earlier in the topic.)
