Board 8 > Is the 2nd half of Sonic Generations worth playing?

I'm starting it now and I'm mainly excited for the old Genesis levels, but the new levels seem meh to me. Are they any better than the actual levels they are based on, or am I better off not bothering? I only paid 10 bucks so it wouldn' t be a big loss if I only played half the game

I've hated every 3D Sonic I have played (haven't touched Unleashed or Colors though) and I thought the levels were fairly good.

you have to play The Modern Stages to unlock the other Classic Stages anyway
