Probably. It doesn't effect endings, only enemy HP and drop rates as I recall (considerably increasing both).

1/10, no effort put into it. And I'm not even a big fan of the game!

I haven't played it on hard mode, but all I've heard is that it's just tedious and that normal mode is more fun.

Yeah, Nier is better played on normal. All hard does is make stuff take longer to do.

You're gonna be replaying the last 1/3 of the game 4 times anyways, you can pump up the NG+ difficulty then if you want!
