I have a habit (especially for rather large games) where I'll become unhappy with my character somehow and simply restart the entire game. The most extreme example of this was in Dragon Age: Origins where I actually made it all the way to the Landsmeet and restarted my game. I'll also delete all my files too in the process.
I got every achievement in Lego Indiana Jones 2. This is the only time I've ever continued playing a game after loosing interest in it just to get achievements.

If you can read this I've momentarily stopped lurking.
Sometimes, depending on the game, I like to play on easy mode.

I also do this a lot.

I have to always at least try to 100% a game unless my backlog is huge, taking away from the enjoyment of just playing/beating missions/stories I like.
I don't play video games in which I can't main a female character, regardless of the genre.
Nintendo games or games with no characters (Tetris) are the exceptions.
The hell? o.0 What do you classify as being able to "main?" Like, would you play Sonic Adventure since you can play as Amy? Or because you're forced to play as Sonic/Tails/etc. for most of it would that eliminate it?

The former since it's furry animals and I don't care about their gender.

-I always make sure to try everything the game has to offer(play with every character, talk to every NPC multiple times, try out every ability, etc)
-If the game isn't hard enough I will find ways to make it harder for myself, even the first time through(Avoiding checkpoints, keeping my levels low, etc)
-I always play with expensive headphones or speakers to get the best possible sound
-I also always play on a big TV, sitting close to the screen in a dark room, for maximum immersion
-I take every measure to avoid spoilers, going as far as to never watch trailers or read reviews for games I know I will buy
I will frequently play on Easy, and pretty much never Hard.
This.
Also, in games (especially RPGs) where you can create your own main character I will spend far more time making a multitude of characters than actual making any in game progress with any of them. Like I have 15 characters in Morrowind and none of them are past the 2nd town.

I wish I could 100% every game I own, but I realize that doing so would be an exercise in futility of time. Also the reason I mostly play on Normal mode instead of the hardest difficulty.
