retail is terrible because you're treated as an even lower form of life than prostitutes, the fact that you make very little money is just added salt in the wounds.

That sounds kinda low to me.

Also, twelve hours sounds horrible. The first day I worked a twelve-hour shift in retail was the day I began hating my job.

Not even!

The store is open like from 8 to 7 (10 to 6 during the weekend) and there are only 2 employees needed at all time (small store).

12hours is my normal weeks! It makes me mad when I get more because I don't need it.
