Notice the last phrase. "Go find the "8 units". "Link" to save Princess Zelda.".

The word Link is in green, which is why people thought it was his name.

Pretty sure the sentence was supposed to be "Go find and link the 8 units together to save Princess Zelda. Pretty sure Link was not suppose to be Link's name

Actually, Nintendo manuals were pretty accurate. They even translated names and stuff too faithfully, even when it wouldn't make sense. Which is why Pols Voice hates loud noise.
