yea it's pretty bad in the civilian world which is why I'm giving the part time army thing a shot, and since I'm already a college graduate commissioned route seems safest and with the most benefits, plus I'm no infantry man or anything lol
And further EDU in NJ is free. Master's for free? TY america
GI Bill isn't as good for me since I'm part time/guard... I think. Either way GI bill will help me pay off my loans, since my state loan isn't applicable for the pay back program, and the tuition waiver allows me to get my master's free. Can't go wrong, it's a "get out of debt free" card. Well not free but still.
On a side note, Tampa despite their 4 wins is in SERIOUS running for "Worst team in the league"

screwed again by the refs, that's a friggen fumble there were so many athletic moves there that's a fumble
challenge it, good... and now we can't challenge it because it's ruled incomplete. Absolute disgusting homejob for the stupid, pathetic, loser jets. Can't stand it.
this game essentially screws the jets on so many tiebreaker levels and puts them into a "miracle" situation like the eagles are in this week. And our win here knocks out the eagles too, please hold on big blue.

This is true!

I think ever since the Bills actually caused Revis to have a bad (for him) game, every team feels like they can do the same.
...And refuse to change their gameplan when Revis proves them wrong.
Honestly, should the Jets lose this game (and the way they've decided to not play, that seems likely at this rate) the most frustrating thing about it for me is that I'm utterly surrounded by bandwagon Giants fans who know nothing about the team (literally was asked if Eli was playing in this game earlier) who will just talk about this endlessly.

...What?
No, it doesn't. It's an out-of-conference game. The Dolphins game is what would be a tiebreaker disaster. Well, in theory. In practice the Jets lose practically all of them anyway so it's not like they can be hurt any more.
...And here comes Sanchez to remove all hope.

Actually it kinda does.
Titans get guaranteed tiebreaker over the Jets when they beat the Jags and will be at a Houston team that won't even be trying.
KC blowing it to Oakland leaves the Jets vulnerable to an OAK+DEN combo

No, losing this game just puts them back into the utterly awful tiebreaker situation they were back in what... Week 13? It doesn't actively make it any worse.
I mean, don't get me wrong, losing this game practically eliminates the Jets assuming some other results hold, but that's not because it makes the tiebreaker scenario any worse. That hit rock bottom a long time ago.

XP, the Titans have the common games tiebreaker at 4-1 vs. 3-2 if they beat the Jags, with the same conference record.

(And yes, it again goes back to the Denver loss, that was always the one I thought could kill them)

Yes, and the Giants are not a common game nor an AFC opponent.
I think the key difference here is I operate under the assumption that the other teams win out and so I have always given the Titans the tiebreaker over the Jets. I don't see this as them losing it. They never had it in my eyes.

(And the Jags just tossed a pick in the end zone to end that game, meanwhile the Cardinals have gone into ULTRAHYPERTEBOWMODE against the Bengals)

That's exactly why beating the Jags gives them the tiebreaker regardless.
The Titans would be virtually eliminated with a loss even if everyone else loses, that's how crippling it'd be.

I think we might be arguing two different things now. I am not arguing that losing to the Giants is not devastating to the Jets playoff chances (particularly if the Bengals and Titans win). I'm arguing that losing to the Giants doesn't make the Jets' awful tiebreaker situation any worse.
What it does is make that situation relevant again.
