A swamp seems good enough for Triton to be useful. Nothing Haguile has can compare. HGR

I open the fight with my illusions. The swamp combined with my evocation of scent plus the illusions make it so that he can't find me. Then I hypnotize him into drowning himself, managing to do it fast enough before he can attack me due to my illusions and Orb of Thought that allows me near perfect planning.
But I'll use my bow to attack HGR, which he'll block. So here's the scenario:
->Either he blocks my attack against HGR and becomes a defender, in which case I can hypnotize him into attacking HGR OR ->He doesn't block my attack against HGR which means HGR dies >.>
I think Triton would qualify enough as a Defender (since he'd be protecting his summoner) to be controlled with Haguile's Hypnotize spell, so if HGR summons Triton then he'd lose the fight.
But he has to. I'll use my illusions and Orb of Thought to evade all his other lesser attacks. He'd have to go all out on me, and when he did, I'd fist pump his face with my hypnotism.
