Board 8 > Board 8 help me win a private board

I have a karma battle entry that is still perfect and I'm looking to finish in the top 2 for the private board. If I get it, I'll offer it to be a centralized area for the gurus to coordinate efforts to influence future contests for the better (to make up for the low quality of the current one) or coordinate noms or discuss contest stuff in general if people are interested in that.

Right now I need your help. I'm wondering what I should take in order to maximize my chances of finishing in the top 2. This is partially contingent on how many other karma entries are in the top 50, which I'm unsure of (but I know it can't be that many).

Right now I have a 10% pick with Link/Ganondorf with 60-69%. If Bacon had allowed specific 5% blocks I probably would have taken something like 62-66.99%, but the split came right at the 65% mark which made me uneasy enough to retreat back to 10%, which I'm thinking might be enough to get me in the top 2 karma entries.

But what you you do, board 8? Am I not being gutsy enough, and I should go for a 5% pick at 60-65%? Advice is appreciated.

I'm not an expert on this, but odds are you're not going to finish in the top 2 with a 10% pick. You're lucky in that Karma entries will probably play it safer (hence not many gambling on the 1% pick), but I'd wager the Karma winner(s) will have at least a successful 5% entry.

And be aware that anyone remotely near the top 50 with a correct 1% pick will finish with a better score than you. Anyway, do what you will. I have a perfect Karma bracket too, and I'm taking the 1% gamble (and will certainly lose, but I'd rather try and lose than do nothing and lose anyway). I'm fully conscious that a 5% pick would probably be smarter, but heh.
