(A) Her meeting with Ikuko in EP6 was actually part of Ikuko & Tohya's stories, as were various other things in the 1998 world, and possibly the meta-world, and even possibly the entirety of what we read.

(B) Meta-world is real, shenanigans were had.

Pick one. Or both. Or neither, you can think up your own interpretation if you like, that's what's so great about it.

Despite the fact that I'm posting big walls of text about (A) in the EP8 Tea Party, I too feel like this most of the time. It's very interesting to consider the metafiction interpretation though.

I don't say I blame you for making the walls of text about the reasonable interpretation

I just like the Meta-World one so much more because it means that everything like Beatrice, Erika, etc actually happened in the context of the story
