video game music has no less inherent "merit," but even if you assume it's just as good as regular music in any given style (which is a hell of an assumption) you're still making an arbitrary and unnecessary cut-off for no apparent reason

The problem with that is that you're assuming that I don't already have jazz.

If I wanted jazz as a whole, then I could pgo to one of the tons of topics that ask for jazz recs or look at lists of jazz (There is no shortage of both by any means).

Also, jazz arranges have a certain charm of being a familiar tune, but in a different style than you're used to.
