Attribute 1 is way more important attribute 2. I mean, attribute 2 is cool and all, but only as a means of experiencing attribute 1, you know? So A.

But no seriously, if you look at it objectively, A and C are equivalent answers, so neither can be the right choice unless both are right, so those aren't an option. And you know D isn't the right answer since it's right in the middle and this is clearly a trick question, so go with E.

My thinking exactly

Random possibly correct justification:
E is close to D as far as being the "jack of all trades" product but has a feature that is likely to capture more attention than D. While this feature also hurts it in one attribute, people are more likely to go for it as they'd like something that is "better at something" rather than the average product.

This answer is not based on any marketing class experience...so you should probably try looking up the term of the theory/concept or whatever online.
