I'm thinking of getting a phone that's not 5 years old for a change. I haven't kept up with the cell phone technology at all so I hope someone hip can recommend me something
My requirements are the following (my current phone either can't or can barely do any of these things):
-Need to be able to check e-mail, in particular it should have good compatibility with gmail. Being able to sign in to multiple gmail accounts simultaneously is preferred. -Full keyboard support -Open common attachments, such as pictures and pdf files (my current phone can't do this!) -Able to browse most webpages at a reasonable rate -Some kind of support with google maps that will take me from my current location to where I'm trying to go, without needing to know the address of my current location -Reasonable battery life (I shouldn't have to plug it in daily) -Needs to not break easily (I'm clumsy). [This is the only good thing about my current phone]. -I should be able to do basic tech support myself (so I should be able to remove and replace the battery myself, for instance)
That's it! I don't care about being able to play music or movies or anything super fancy along those lines. Also, cost isn't an issue to me.
Thanks for any input!

yeah, battery life in phones is kind of how gas mileage in cars. If you take care of it, you can push it to good limits. But nowadays people don't know how to take care of anything sooooo.....Charging your phone doesn't mean leaving it on as it charges...
