Epic still isn't the word I would use to describe KH. However, I would use a lot of other good words instead. I would use less good words for FFVIII.

Not you again. I've never seen someone with such crappy taste. FF8 is better than ANY KH game. Then again that's not giving FF8 enough credit. Not the best FF game but certainly tiers above garbage.

Squall one of the most iconic FF characters struggling to beat a bunch of goofy looking children is just embarrassing to watch.

I'm 22. I know a pile of garbage (FF8) from a masterpiece (KH). People who don't like KH usually moan the story is "too complex". Huh, well I understand the story quite well. People don't pay attention to cutscenes and dialogue and base their opinion on that. The story is quite easy to learn, its fun, and the cast is likable. And not all KHs "mash the X button". Try that against Ursula form 1 in Kingdom Hearts. You'd be killed.

That being said, I really enjoyed KH2 and the beginning of KH1, so I still voted for Sora/Riku. (Although Squall individually is better than either Sora or Riku, despite the awfulness of the game he is in)

I was torn in my vote today. I enjoyed the KH series more than FFVIII, but this is a rivalry contest. Based on the characters, I voted the Squall/Seifer rivalry was more compelling.

Actually, I hated the story because it was overly simplistic. Literally nothing in the overall story changed other than Sora's location from after leaving Traverse Town the first time to the time you reach Hollow Bastion (which I will admit is a pretty awesome level).

No it's just completely and utterly pointless and uninteresting. I'l admit i enjoyed KH when i was what...i think was 11 or something but the only reason i enjoyed those games was because of the soundtrack and Disney worlds/stories. I couldn't give a flying **** about the actual characters from the game apart from some of the FF/Disney ones.

The only thing I liked about KH2 was the sephiroth fight. That was an awesome fight, then the game turned to crap again. The last boss in KH2 is basically you flying in the friggin air mashing Triangle. what ***** boss is that.

And the Gummy ship levels...i mean cmon, those were terrible

Well KH2 was basically God of War, so I'd say epic applies, in a cheap fun actiony sort of way. (Mind you God of War 2 is still better.)
