But as far as looking strong in individual matches? Not so much. Dude hasn't really been tested in big matches there-- figures, TNA doesn't know how to use a big name, right? That 10 second victory over Sting was played off as Sting getting surprised rather than squashed, and then Sting proceeded to beat him senseless with a bat for 5 minutes. If anything Sting looked stronger there.
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Honorable mention to his Flag match vs. Dreamer at November to Remember. He no sold one hell of an ass kicking to get the thing to go no contest.

I dont know if you can count ONS vs Cena as his strongest as he needed Edge to win the match. Unless you are accounting for the crowd being ape**** for him increaseing his 'power level' then yeah ONS hands down
-- Circle gets the Scare! Imagine if Jesus knew kung fu. That's what everyone is dealing with
Considering van dam was a career midcarder, even in ECW, it is one hell of an accomplishment that he beat Cena at all.

As far as his strongest match in TNA, my gut answer is when he successfully defended his title in a Fatal Four-Way against Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson, and newly heel-turned Abyss (and for people like him and Kane, they're at their kayfabe strongest right when they turn heel).
I don't remember the match TOO well but he was booked so strongly during that timeframe that I don't think any shenanigans occurred that led to his victory.

Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
He also beat Sting cleanly at Slammiversary VIII that year during the same title reign, and it wasn't played off as a fluke like the 10-second match was.
