Is this in order? Because while I hate ExTha as much as the next guy, nobody is worse than Meow. Forget the giving up on their team thing that they both do, Meow is literally a Yankees/Mets/Rangers/Islanders/Jets/Giants/Bills fan. People like him should be rounded up and put in work camps.

ExTha is such a god damn baby that he literally trashes an entire sport when he team sucks. Normally IRL he would probably just start bandwagoning another team, but he knows we are onto him so he tries to save face by watching soccer instead.


And MWC is a top 3 sports fan on this board.

I listed the Knicks at first, but then I remembered there is no other New York team for him to root for until the Nets come, even though they're essentially a New York team already. I'm not sure if he likes basketball but I would assume he roots for both of them if he does.

XD and he literally tries to pretend that soccer is a better game, that's the best part. So not only is he trashing football, he's trashing AMERICA. Now that I think about it, you're right. He's worse than Chairman Meow.

I'm actually a fan of both these teams - only sport where its 2 for me. Here I claim it's not as bad since the Knicks and Nets don't really have any kind of a rivalry, unlike Yankees/Mets, Giants/Jets, Rangers/Islanders/Devils(Maybe? Idk hockey). Part of it at least for me is I grew up going to both games a lot. I liked the Knicks more as a kid cuz I liked Patrick Ewing but now I'm more of a Nets fan... though I still love the Knicks.

It helps that they're never relevant at the same time.

It's still kind of unacceptable to be fans of both, but I'll live with it. It's not bad in comparison to others.
I think its at least ok to support other teams if it doesn't affect your team at all.. kind of like "well if my team doesnt win, at least this other team I kind of like wins"... but I wouldn't say a 'fan' of. I feel this way about the Orioles and Ravens, going to school in Baltimore.

I don't see how you can claim that the Knicks and Nets don't have a real rivalry when they're in the same division and thus in direct competition for playoff spots, and then claim that Jets/Giants is a real rivalry when they hardly ever play each other outside preseason. Their games aren't even on TV at the same time!

Saying "we're probably going to lose" doesn't mean I'm going to give up.

I don't ever ****ing give up on my teams. I'm always in the game and rooting for them as hard as possible and I never have giving up anywhere in my thoughts.

I tell myself a lot "we're not going to win" so its that much better when we do, and if we don't it doesn't sting as hard... but it still does, I'm just lying to myself if I say "we can't win here".. but I never actually said that.. That's basically my mentality.

We don't have to be dicks about our teams and think we're the greatest thing ever created to be considered good fans.

Right, sure. If we were down 24-0 at the half, screwed by bad ref calls, I would never stop watching or anything like that. I'd feel really ****tty that we were getting wholloped and that we got screwed over by refs or w/e... btu I' still believe Eli would at the very least be able to give us a good chance at winning. These things are going through my mind though when the game is going on.

When your team screws up things on its own ability, like wen the Giants turned it over, yeah, I feel like the team is embarassing itself and chances to win don't look good and that's how I express my frustration with them.

Doesn't mean I stop believing in them. It's venting and it's getting depressed/upset that we put on a poor display in even just a sequence of plays.

Cowgirls TD to go up with 5 minutes left, followed by Giants drive -> I've seen this story before. My hope gets built up before being crushed. Of course it's on my mind that "I'm going to be crushed if we lose" and that's what I was trying to show. That we've done this gppd comeback attempt and loss before and it hurts badly.

I was at the Seahawks game and we did it when Eli got picked at the end.
Then we failed to stop VY on his final drive. Every single set of downs on that last drive they got to 3rd down... like 8 times. And every time we failed to stop him. That's all it would've taken was one 3rd down stop out of 8. Even 3rd and Goal. But nope, each one of those 3rd downs was a tiny escalating disappointment/frustration.

So I've seen this happen before. And while I always still believed Eli could win, I just basically wanted you guys to all know how upsetting it was for me while we were playing badly that game, and how crushed I'd have been if we had lost.


I think I rpeeated myself a lot here but w/e.


Point is, no I'm not a terrible fan. And **** off to anyone who thinks so.

I don't know, if I were a Giants fan I think I'd still be extending them a grace period for beating an 18-0 team in the Super Bowl.

If you're a Rams fan now it certainly wouldn't be appropriate to go around saying Steven Jackson or Sam Bradford is a top player in the league and go about being a dick about your team... I don't think any Rams fans do this now?

We're 7-6. We had a tough schedule sure, but 7-6 is still 7-6 and not that hot, even being a division winner. So this year, I've been harder on my team a bit, more upset/frustrated by them and the like. I don't (always) blame thing on refs (except Lacrosse refs) or something. If my team fails to do something, and I feel its of their own doing that they failed. I droop my head, hope we'll improve for next time, accept it, and hope they'll push on, as I push on too. You don't have to agree with every move or play they make (#FireKevinGilbride), but just keep supporting them and always root ad cheer for them no matter what they do or how they perform in games or just find ways to be entertained in a positive way by the team. That's a fan.

For me, being hard on them when theyre playing down... being like "we're playing poorly, we're going to lose"... Maybe I feel like its almost some kind of inspiration.. like I want them to play harder... I still care fully and always do. I could say I'm being real about the situation but I just think by saying stuff like this, it really somehow makes me care more and be more into the game... because I want them even more to come back and make them show that they're fighters.

I was 0-4 at Mets games last year, both home and away (went to one game @ Trashadelphia) .
I've been really bad luck for my teams lately when going to games which sucks a lot. 0-2 at Giants this year.

People tell me I should become a Yankees fan and go to some games at The Stadium.
