I never got to finish last time (around November 6th, 2010) and the topic purged so I lost all my write-ups. And because I don't have a month to spend on this and Deathly Hallows Part 2 (worst piece of garbage I've ever paid money to go see) is over and done with, I want to finish this up really quick since I probably won't touch Harry Potter for a while now, if ever.
It's been a great ride but I feel the magic leaving so I have to get this out of the way. Hold on to yer butts. I'm not even sure you can call these "write-ups".
I rarely truly HATE characters but boy did Umbridge piss me off when I read Order of the Phoenix; not my favorite person at all but she is a great character.
This will inevitably disappoint me since you are, for god only knows what reason, a fan of Fleur Delacour, but maybe there will be some pleasant surprises as well.

Look at your quote. Now look at mine. Sadly, your quote isn't mine, but if you watch Adventure Time, it could SMELL like mine. I'm on a rainicorn!
I NEVER knew this because it doesn't mention it in the book IIRC. I looked it up and it's just on the official site where J.K. posted a bunch of other info that also weren't in the books. =o
I didnt picture Angelina as black the entire time I read the series but apparently the book at some point describes her as such. Her great accomplishments include being captain of the Quidditch team and Fred Weasleys date to the Yule Ball.
#33: Rita Skeeter
I feel like she gets hate for setting out to ruin peoples lives but she IS an unregistered Animagus and that takes major skill so I have to give her props for that.

That was two sentences. Also she apparently hooks up with and marries George.

Ginny is a special case because she goes from the shy as **** sister of Ron who set the basilisk loose to this really awesome hot little slut but then she gets with Harry. Eww.
#25: Serious Black
The first time around reading the series, I couldnt find PoA anywhere at the library and I was impatient so I just ended up reading GoF before PoA. And I had no idea who this guy was but I did love the way the man ate his chicken. Sirius is too rash though. Chill out.
I like the Malfoys even though theyre sort of incompetent and a bunch of cowards. Narcissas big moment came for me when it showed that she didnt give a **** about the Dark Lords plans and just wanted to see her son. Manly tears, people.
#23: Rubeus Hagrid
For every awesome moment Hagrid has, he also has some pretty dumb ones. I mean the guy tried to raise a freakin DRAGON IN HIS WOODEN HUT and brought back that damn Grawp. Not to mention the Acromantula, giving away the secret to Fluffy. Also, Robbie Coltrane in Hagrid getup makes me think of that fat one from Lost.
Tom is just a bro who runs the hottest bar in the wizarding world.
#21: Igor Karkaroff
Honestly, Im not sure why I like this guy. He doesnt do anything special, is incredibly biased and makes no effort to hide it, and hes a coward and a snitch who gets an offscreen death. His name is fun to say though.
Loyalty. And she can be funny too (PoA Christmas dinner).
#17: Nymphadora Tonks
Pig nose Tonks just seems like a really chill girl to hang with. Its hard to believe she was in Hufflepuff, which is why I guess it was never mentioned in the books. Pretty sure thats an urban legend actually. J.K. can write whatever she wants outside of the books, I probably wont believe it.
Ive liked Draco progressively less as the series went on and he is turned into a major wuss who goes crying to Moaning Myrtle. And he gives his son the worst name ever. I dont even remember what it was. I just remember it was SO BAD. Just like the rest of the epilogue.
#15: Harry Potter
But Draco is not as bad an offender of giving his son a horrible name than the Chosen One himself. Similarly to Malfoy, I like this kid a lot less as the series goes on. Give me holy-****-the-pictures-are-moving! Harry when he first finds out everything over Im-a-badass-mutha****a Harry. The magic went away when he got older.

What are teacups?? ^_~ 2/17/2011 - $5000 // $14,400
Very solid list until now :-). But you switched Crouch Junior and Harry Potter after your write-ups?
I'm really hoping (probably idle hope) that Dobby still has to come :-P. We'll have Hermione, Ron, Fred&George, Dumbledore, Snape, Lupin, Sirius, Luna and Bellatrix is my guess.
I'm really digging Crouch Jr. being up so high. He probably breaks my top 5 because I love a good villain that can fool even Dumbledore with his trickery.

"Just drown them in maple syrup. sticky maple syrup." - Taslion
Probably the coolest old man and one of, if not the greatest wizards of all time, Dumbledores greatness is only heightened with his obsession with purple squashy things and badass pet. But Im not a big fan of rigging all those house cup wins for Gryffindor and making them change decorations.
#9: Remus Lupin
His DAtDA class seemed most the most fun. Hes the most responsible and calm-headed one of the Marauders and hes a ****ing werewolf. Come on.
From: Vishje3000 | #038 But you switched Crouch Junior and Harry Potter after your write-ups?
Yeah I had Harry up one spot. Guess I forgot to update the list.
#6: Hermione Granger
She does have her annoying points *cough*S.P.E.W.*cough* but she is so bloody brilliant. Does get worse as the series goes along though because of one reason.
Ill be completely honest. My fondness for Hedwig skyrocketed after Deathly Hallows when within the first pages, J.K. decides to KILL HER OFF. I was devastated. Thats when you knew **** was getting serious. You dont kill off the ****ing owl. You never do realize what you have until its gone. Then you remember all the good times that youve had. And shes so ****ing smart. She goes to Hermiones for Harrys 13th birthday. I mean what other pet would do that for you?! And all those dead rodents. I wanted to see Harry bawling when it happened.
And with time to reflect, Hedwigs death was definitely the saddest in the entire serious. No joke.
#4: Severus Snape
Probably the second saddest death. Im a sucker for romantic failure stories. That entire ****ing chapter man.
