Hmm... it seems my post from earlier... didn't get posted...

Anyway, I'm a little disappointed I didn't get to see my killer backpack in action, not to mention the fact that my whole "tends to stand around blankly for long periods of time without realising it" (or something to that effect) quirk was only shown once during the first chapter :(

Still, I guess its what I get for not sending in any actions at all :/

Meh, writing what my character would do seemed complicated, and the whole number and skill thing confused me further :/. Add the fact that my internet has largely been blocked on and off over the span of the last few chapters, and it was really inevitable.

It can be as simple as >Go to armory to look for weapons, or even >Stand still.
Of course, I'm really sorry if the number and skill things confused you, I thought it was quite simple. The others don't seem to have troubles, perhaps your skill is just a bit too complicated.

You could've posted here to let me know, but hey, at least you're not dead last.

Yeah, I'm grateful for that at least. I think in hindsight, I assumed as much from the start (on the whole action thing), though when I got the PM with my Numerology skill saying "You can choose who to act in the next round ", I got a little bit unsure, and I didn't want to seem like an idiot asking what it meant.

Oh, you shouldn't have worried, people did ask confirmations about their skills.

Also, it'd be great if you could, uhh, hide your skills, since people would know what it is - and it could be disadvantageous for the person who will inherit your skill.

Digital roots and a device used to read someone's number is the same plot device used in 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, an adventure game for the Nintendo DS.
The chapel:
The chapel being filled with wax figures as if they were attending a funeral and Orochimaru's death are references to the movie House of Wax.
However, the figures shown in the picture are Umineko no Naku Koro Ni characters (specifically, Chiyo Kumasawa, Toshiro Gohda, Natsuhi Ushiromiya, and Krauss Ushiromiya), and the funeral can be seen as a reference to Episode 7. Therefore, I would have accepted that as the answer too (but nobody caught it, except for Mana who didn't send a PM).
Also, the number 28 refers to the people who have been inside the manor before this game (10 from Mr. Owen's party, which is a reference to And Then There Were None, and 18 from the Goldsmith family conference, a reference to Umineko no Naku Koro Ni).
