I haven't. I bought a kit to make them once, but I've never had them. Never seen any stores selling them.

Just to preface for the slower readers, no, I don't mean caramel apples. If I meant caramel apples, I would have said bloody caramel apples.

No, I mean candy apples. These things.



Apples with a shiny read coating on them.

So has anyone had these? I feel like it's a lost tradition even though they're referenced fairly often.

Yea, not a real big fan of them.

Yes. Caramel apples are superior to them. Candy apples take forever to finish and I generally get tired of the candy coating by about halfway through. Eh.

What? They're not exactly some rare food...like funnel cake.

And yeah, I had some. I'll take pure green apples thx.

I have, but I'm not a fan. Caramel apples are better, but I prefer just eating a plain apple to both.
