It's a tossup. I know a lot of people wouldn't agree with that, but it's true. And considering a majority users are going with Ike/Knight, I'm taking Conker/Poo for a chance at an early edge. It's definitely worth a shot.

The thing about going for the "early edge" in a situation where at least 80% are taking the opposite is that if it doesn't work then you are now 1 point behind 80% of the field.

All it takes from that point is 1 person from that 80% who has virtually the same bracket as you otherwise to really keep you down.



I did pick some episodes mind you, but they are more of the calculated "if this happens almost no one will have predicted it and its worth quite a few points".

I had doubts. After seeing the pic, more confident in Ike/BK.

Yeah it goes both ways of course, but I feel like it's worth the risk. I want to exploit the fact that Ike/Knight are the overwhelming favorite when I feel like it should be a tossup. I did something similar with Deus Ex and Rock Band last year. Went for the risk and it worked out. This one might not, but I won't feel bad about it. Unless of course Ike just smashes, then I'll feel like **** obviously XD

I'm still remembering that this site is more aligned towards RPGs, and Fire Emblem is popular here. Plus, people are prolly gonna vote for the character they know the best instead of the rivalry, and in this case, we got Ike, who gets a huge portion of his popularity in SSBB.

I am because if supporting a huge pile of poo and an alcoholic squirrel is wrong, then I don't want to be right. Also you would think my bracket was an underdog movie because of how many upsets it has. I'm probably going to get like half of it wrong.
