It's not that I wouldn't like to play any of these games, it's just that they're all too expensive at launch so I'm not really anticipating any of them because I can't actually get them. Why get worked up over something I'm probably not gonna play for another two years?

you don't have to be worked up over it, it's what you're most anticipating, not like... the THING YOU ARE INTENSELY ANTICPATING WITH THE FORCE OF THE SUN. if you kind of want one of these games eventually, just vote for that one. This is a meaningless internet poll, you don't have to put so much thought into it... or any thought into it.

Let me rephrase that. I don't want to play Zelda, I just feel like I have to at some point. It's the only game on that list I'll probably end up playing but it's only out of obligation to the series. It hasn't done anything to excite me yet and I'm not exactly anticipating probably being let down. If it actually turns out to be something special then I'll anticipate it but right now I'm just not interested.

...I'm...kind-of inclined to say yes?

There's a big Mario release, big Zelda release, big RPG release, big FPS release, decently noteworthy fighting game release, various flavours of third person action/adventure--probably the two biggest in that category right now (Assassin's Creed and Uncharted). Like...half the noble nine is represented.

I basically have a rule to not pay attention to hype trains, and even I'm still interested in a couple of these.

Well, ok fair: if you're not interested in these because you're hyped over more indie, more hardcore stuff, then I can't blame you too much for that.

I guess I could still vote for MGS even though I won't be getting it, at least not any time soon. I love all of those games and having HD versions is pretty cool. I wouldn't exactly call that anticipating it though.
