I'm just starting out at 16 with some crappy music.

I hope to get better.

Not sure I liked how it turned out but a few people liked the DRUMBEETZ at the end. I think drums are my strong point, a lot of people seem to like them when I put them in stuff.

How does FL Studio handle? Is it hard to get used to?

Depends on what you used before.

I used to use something with a staff notation in the crappy electronic music class I took last year as a sophomore, so switching to this was a little difficult but not horrible

It's a really strong program when you learn how to use it. It's generally user-friendly, but I got some help from Toby Fox from Homestuck because he drops in IRC sometimes. He also put a tutorial on his site very recently if you need it

Oh I should also mention effects is also something that happens in FL that you should get used to.

For example, in Paradoxysmal Polyphony, I edited the attack on the piano slightly to give a softer sound so it would mesh well with the Cello, which I went into the equalizer and messed around with in addition to putting it in a higher register to make it sound like a viola or violin.

Yeah. I'm not really experienced with a lot of the electronic sound editing stuff.
The programs I use are Magix Music Maker 12 & 16. It doesn't have nearly the synthesizer range that FL Studios has. I was thinking about giving FLS a try at some point.
