Back in the previous Top 25s, I usually show the last 15 songs by text and then show the rest by youtube videos. Because youtube has been on a purging ground in the ongoing years, I had to be creative in selecting videos to highlight the songs (last year, I showed videos of amateurs playing instruments of their favorite anime themes). This year, I'm making the results with my own hands.
Here are the results in one 4-minute video:
Yep, I edited it, amateurish and all. Just a way to combat the increasing purges from youtube.
Keep in mind, this was ranked based on the points system. And the system actually worked; no ties this time around.
There's nothing much to say: the song choices were more or less approved on my part, and some of my favorites made it on the countdown, even if neither were no.1. BTW, for those wondering...the One Piece rap was ranked the last out of the 55 songs, gathering a meager six points from three votes; shows how much support the dubbed songs have on us. >_>
It's been a fun (if tedious) ride. You guys of Board 8 have been of good sport, and I respect that.

I dig me some jpop, but there's not a lotta jrock on the list, especially not much hard stuff, mostly on the softer side. Just tastes of folks I suppose. Also not a lot of my favs in general, and mostly recent-ish stuff.
Good to see Heart of Sword on there. I like Fripside so cool they're on it.
Where's the Lupin theme folks? No Death Note? No Yoshiki Fukuyama?
Ha, I did appreciate the Yiyo Yiyooo.
