SSBB was bar-none the best hype of any game ever. Everything leading up to the release was just pure bliss. It almost makes up for the disappointing actual game... almost.

I remember all those late nights waiting for new character reveals

and assist trophies, oh god I remember people going "SAMURAI GOROH IS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER?" because they couldn't f***ing read. even IGN wrote an article about Knuckle Joe being a new playable character.
