They're going to release season 2 sometime soon I believe. Anyway, I've been watching season 1...seem pretty solid. Probably the only good superhero cartoon other than the 90s X-Men cartoon.

There are many examples, but how about, oh, Batman The Animated Series? One of the most important animated shows ever made? No? Nothing? Hell, the entire DCAU, often considered better than the actual DC Universe?

That guy doesn't like Batman apparently. Although personally, I don't think many comic fans would say the animated universe is better than comics.

Superhero cartoons in my opinion:

BEST:
Justice League / Unlimited
Batman: The Animated Series
Spectacular Spider-Man

GREAT:
Batman Beyond
Batman: Brave and the Bold
The Tick
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

GOOD:
X-Men '90s
Wolverine & the X-Men
Superman the Animated Series

NOSTALGIA GOGGLES:
Pryde of the X-Men
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Spider-Man '90s

MEH:
X-Men Evolution
Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends

BAD:
Super Hero Squad Show (bias against for destroying Mini Marvels)
Fantastic Four '90s
Spider-Man Unlimited
Silver Surfer

HORRIBLE:
Iron Man '90s
Spider-Man MTV

SO HORRIBLE, THEY'RE AMAAAZING:
SAVAGE DRAGON ('I didn't put Garbage Island in Lake Michigan!")
Spider-Man '60s

NOTABLE BUT NEVER WATCHED:
Young Justice
TMNT
Batman/Superman Adventures
Iron Man: Armored Adventures

60's Spider-Man

one of the best things ever.

TMNT 2000 was actually quite good. But they goofed it with 1 little thing that pissed a lot of people off.

Was it how it wasn't funny like the old cartoon or crazy awesome like the comics, and was just kinda generic in the middle? That's my take anyway.

It's pretty awesome, yeah. I need to get caught up on the first season.

Rocket Raccoon and the Guardians of the Galaxy are supposed to make an appearance in the second season, can't wait.

Young Justice is good, too. The animation is better but I prefer the plot in EMH. And I can't stand Robin's voice in YJ.

This is fairly accurate. Sometimes the episode itself will be good then there's like one or two moments that are just...ugh.

Particularly anything with the Miss Martian and Superboy romance. Or when Superboy goes superangst. Or basically anytime "Hello, Megan!" happens. Robin has a weird little gimmick with certain words that annoys me too.

If you're referring to his identity, I didn't think that was really dumb at all. Nor did I know that a lot of people disliked that; I thought it was a neat twist.

My post that was literally right before your post already addressed that god awful cartoon. And I don't know where you got the idea that it's one of the most important animated shows ever made, but you are just simply very wrong. There really is no basis for you making that claim.

Already have many times. Find it fairly boring with a few decent episodes sprinkled here and there. Problem is that DC just has terrible characters altogether. The Flash is good (better than Quicksilver at least)...but for the most part DC characters are lame. The 2 worst are their 2 most famous (Superman and especially Batman). Also, why are you "ewwing" the best superhero cartoon ever made? When Justice League tops the genius of the 4 multi-episode time travel stories then it can compare itself to X-Men.

Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are STILL doing the iconic voices in hit video games today, and continued for in animation for the length of the Timmverse!

For one, it did with the journey into WWII. Or into the Flashless world. Second, you definitely had to have played Justice League Task Force as a kid to have such a hate-on.

But actually, I kind of agree with you. My favorite heroes and modern interest is complete involved in DC, but overall, Marvel's cast of characters outguns DC in personalities, powers, and preference. And props for Flash love.

Especially since it's Wally in JLU, not Allen.

Were those supposed to be bad? The first one was fine other than the horrible quality and Banshee's annoying noise. The second one was plain awesome and I wish cartoons would do that sort of thing today.

I don't see why using the same voice actors makes a cartoon one of the most important cartoons ever made. If we were discussing Mickey Mouse, Looney Tunes, or Simpsons...that I can understand. They all have revolutionary factors to them. Batman did nothing for anybody and was pretty boring. Also, if Mark Hamill makes something super important...well he was a voice actor in Avengers EMH. And WWII does not come close to out-doing X-Men time paradox stories. Days of Future Past, Time Fugitives, One Man's Worth, and Beyond Good and Evil were all incredible.

But yes...Marvel has far more interesting characters. How many serious egotistical jerks do we need in the freaking Justice League? Batman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, etc are all clones of each other. And as far as I can tell, Superman from Young Justice is becoming another serious boring clone. Thank god for Flash and Green Arrow.

I actually agree about the JL, the original Justice League was unbearably boring, Unlimted is better though, thanks to Booster Gold and Flash. But 90s Spiderman and Batman: Animated Series is on par with X-Men.

Mega Mana you totally omitted Teen Titans which I would personally put somewhere between Good and Great. Also I saw like two episodes of Iron Man: Armored Adventures and hated it. I guess they made the cast highschoolers so it would be more relatable for their target audience (teens) but it just didn't work. They also changed the Mandarin into an "alter ego" of some kid who had a crush on Pepper. Yeah, just... no.

That's only because I completely forgot about it listing stuff. Didn't see it quickly browsing Wikipedia and never watched it. Definitely a good one I never watched though.

And yet I remembered Savage Dragon.
