Their voices are so different! It was like watching a completely different TV show. Some animation (such as Agent Mode Perrty) was different too, but the voices are what stuck out the most. I hope there aren't too many episodes before they are using the voice actors I'm used to.
I guess it was reasonably funny, but there have been so many episodes later on that reference the coaster (time travel yayyy ^_^ ) that I wasn't really into it.
Aww yeah. Rollercoaster the Musical was so much better. Also, early Phineas was annoying. I think it's the same VA though, just hasn't gotten used to the role, or the voice is changing.
Season 1: Episode 2 Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror
Augh I just can't get over these voices. Anyways lawn gnomes have been disappearing from the tri-state area. P&F are building a beach in their back yard so naturally candace is freaking out. But cue the debut of Jeremy! I was wondering why it wasn't jeremy selling fries during the roller coaster episode... And so candace will delay her call to mom so she can be popular.
XD. Candaces says "I've never been happier in my entire life" and then their mom's sixth sense fires.
Yesssss, first Doofenshmirtz back story! Being forced to play the role of lawn gnome as a youngster does not build character. The random event destroying the beach was pretty standard but the ensuing candace freak out was one of the better ones. Sunny with a slight chance of scattered lawn gnomes. ^_^

It is in the musical, but it's just a similar looking guy with a completely different voice in Ep 1. he says "welcome to mr slushy burget may i take your order" but it's completely different He has his normal voice when he talks again in Episode 3. So Yeah, I'm going to call that not-jeremy =P

okay time out. I KNOW I've seen this episode recently but it had the NORMAL voices. Am I going crazy? Or maybe they re-recorded the voices for some season 1 episodes? I do not know what to make of this at all.
Yeah I definitely remember "chicka chicka chew-ah". But major monogram still has his old voice. Or maybe I saw it recently and didn't realizes the voices weren't normal? Anyways the song is incredibly catchy.
XD And the first example of Dr. D not recognizing Perry when he obviously should. I always love it when that happens.
Best line of the episode: "By the way, aren't you a little young to be pop stars?" "No"
The episode where they become race car drivers. Obviously they are too young to drive, but not too young to use a remote control to maneuver the car. =P
Pretty standard fair episode though. Nothing spectacular.
Not to be a dick, but why even bother watching this show? Even as filler i don't watch it, let alone actively pursuing the entire series. Is there something I'm missing?

Phineas and Ferb's the best. The reason why the voice is different in the first episode is because the voice actor was going through puberty, but all the voice actors have remained the same from the start to now so far.

Candace is studying lines for a play she is in and finds out that the movie adaptation of that play is filming in their town. Pretty convenient imho ^_^
Meanwhile Doofenshmirtz has been quiet, too quiet. Perry is dispatched to figure out "what has...not being going", and naturally to put a stop to whatever it isn't is.
The lead actress of the movie quits, setting candace up nicely to fill in as a free replacement. The director says he will use the money saved on the actress to higher the hottest new directions. He is obviously referring to Phineas and Ferb. But candace is too concerned about becoming a start to prioritize the usual busting.

Pretty good episode though Candace didn't try and bust her brothers once. Not sure how I feel about that.
Phineas and Ferb are at the mall today on account of Linda's jazz performance there. Clearly they will be doing something bust-worthy soon.
Meanwhile Doofenshmirtz has recently purchased.... 4 helicopter blades, 24 baloons and 6000 light bulbs...

Doofenshmirtz backstory was especially excellent. He threw his own surprise party at age 5 (no one showed up) and had his doonkle berry cake stolen by bats.
XD Perry cloudsurfing on bats by leading them with cake on a string. Things were looking grim for Phineas until Perry casts "summon bigger fish" causing a flying whale to knock ice cream onto Phineas' head. Buford and Phineas friend for ever confirmed.
There's also a character that looks similar to Irving (the kid with a toilet for a head), but the creators said they just based Irving on that character.
