Board 8 > How do the God of War games get ranked?

I recently beat God of War III, not really sure how I would rank the games. None of them really blew me away as anything too special. I played them pretty far apart from each other so it's hard for me to compare them.

I played the PS2 version of GoW and GoW2, I don't know how much playing the PS3 versions could boost them. I guess I would go 3 > 2 > 1, but I don't know. I'm curious to see what the consensus is.

Yeah I was thinking 2 > 3 > 1 but I couldn't really explain that reasoning.

2 > 3 > 1 is usual

you get occasional 3 > 2 > 1 and some people even put 3 last, for some reason.

I think it's mostly because 3's final fight (and ending in general) are pretty underwhelming compared to how 2 ended.
