Phoenix has already lost to Freeman and I don't see any reason why that would change if they had another match. The man who destroyed GFNW is what he always has been; board8 nominated, overseeded fodder for whoever happens to get lucky enough to face him.

Not really, but okay. The fanbases are basically going to be the same, and I can't really imagine anyone voting for Phoenix because he has Edgeworth there that wouldn't vote for him anyway. Zero faith in a series where the biggest win they've had was edging out Bomberman.

it's dumb to compare Phoenix from 2006 anyway. he's grown bigtime. it's the same as taking pre-HL2 Gordon.

Gordon does still beat Phoenix because he's grown as well, but he's got a damn anchor.

I actually do think Jecht is pretty weak. Coming into that contest I had assumed Phoenix would win (though I ended up picking Jecht anyway). I think the fact a character like Jecht can beat Phoenix isn't a very good sign for him, and while he may have certainly increased a little since 2006 it can't be by that much.

As for that match, I think the results stay the same with Magus doing worse. It's a tough call to make but two of the characters have done nothing and while Magus is historically the sinking ship of contest characters, I still don't think Phoenix beats him in that match.

But the sad thing about the Magus/Phoenix/Bomberman/Crash match is that Bomberman probably takes dead last now. Poor guy.

As bad as Frog and Magus are getting, Raiden's not any better and Vamp is certainly the weakest of the group.
