I happened to think recently that it was nearly 10 years to the day since my first date with my first serious girlfriend, and now today's that day. This got me looking back at my old journal I kept back then. I had been keeping the journal for about 6 months at this point, but only regularly for two months. If this topic goes anywhere, I will go back and post some of other older ones. For the most part, I will keep the entries true to how I created them, though one of my "gimmicks" was to only ever have one paragraph in most entries. I will add some breaks to make it more readable. Also, anything in italicized brackets [] are added editorial comments.

Alright, T-minus 1:34 to date. I can't really wait... I know that I will love it and it will be perfect. I'm going to do my best not to overanalyze whether "I meant to do it Sat" means she was and isn't now or that she didn't Thurs because she will Sat. [I am not 100% sure exactly what I was referring to here, but based on my Thursday entry, I think it is whether or not she was planning to kiss me] I was using that to manifest all my worries though. I'm not gonna let any worries of rain get to me, they said on the weather that it will be scattered if any at all. I am not going to let the nervousness of asking her out and if she says yes bother me. I'm just going to be me. If she doesn't say yes to the prospect it will be ok, we will be the same friends as always, and if she does say yes then we will have a whole new dimension to our relationship. I just have to always keep in mind that even if we breakup and it isn't peachy then just remember that we will have to stay friends forever. I love her to death ya know and couldn't stop :). Lessee... not much else to talk about, I've already bathed. I need to shave and brush my teeth and get dressed, but that is about all. I think I'm gonna run now though. I might post about the date tonight. It just depends on how I feel and all.

Alright, so my date went... GREAT. We picked her up, I met her mom and found out she talks a good bit about me and even told her mom about the prom thing! She came out looking absolutely stunning in a skirt, boots, sweater, and shirt. We went to the car and I didn't know what to talk about in front of my mom at first, but then I finally got started when we stopped for gas. We talked all the way there and when we got there we started going around holding hands and all. It's hard to remember the order in which everything happened, but basically it went like this. We went outside and got in the go-carts first. I got ahead and then slowed down for her to catch up and then some guy got into me and she busted out and won. I kinda got back into that guy at one point though. We also did this later and she stayed ahead. She let me catch up then dusted me... I hit her at the end the second time though.
After that we went inside and played a few games and won some tickets. After that, we went out and played some Putt-Putt. (wow a Funsville commercial is on ;) they don't mention out brand of fun) I was winning before the 7th I think that was it then she put her arm around me and I put her arm around her and she said that this fountain like thing was beautiful for being fake and then leaned over and gave me a kiss. I ended up making a 6 on that hole :) I sat on the rock at the next hole and got a kiss on the cheek. After I got up, I kissed her back. We finished the game and I got some more kisses and then we went in.
We walked back arm on arm and smooched again then went in to get some food. After we got food, we were talking and I told her I had her a present and she made me tell her what it was. After that, she told me she loved me and was gonna french kiss me after this. I didn't think she would, but anyways so the date went on... we did go-carts again then. I think we went in for a while then we were a little low on ticketage so we wanted to get more, but we realized that it was raining. So we did more inside stuff. Inside stuff is basically her whipping my ass in air hockey, some skeeball, lots of basketball, a shooting game, and a few games for tokens. The first time inside she said "you wanna get me a stuffed animal!?" it was really low so I didn't win, but she didn't seem mad.
Lessee... after this it was drying up and we got tokens. We got on the carosel and she asked me how far I'd gotten. I didn't wanna talk about it, but did say 3rd touchy feely. She said about the same, but the guy was trying to and she wasn't willing so she hit him :). Anyways, I asked if we were a couple and she said she didn't know and talked about her dad and getting out of relationships and there isn't another guy but it's hard and all... After this we went to putt-putt soon. This was interesting, I lost bad, but I won in reality. I got my first French kiss from her when some ppl were staring and I said let's put on a show then. She messed up on the next hole and I said "that good?" she said "yeah" We had a long french before the 10th hole and then is about when she really got all up in my shots to make me screw up [Basically she would come up behind me a gently press herself against my back and I think she may have put her arms around my waist]. I couldn't really do it back well, but anyways she kicked my ass.

After this I think we went and played some games inside before running outside, hitting the small rollercoaster and the batting cages. Then we called mom and sat on a bench arms around each other reading tidbits then laying close. We checked the ticket counter and didn't find anything before this and after we played one more game of shooting before we left. At her house I went up to her room and did Photoshop, gave one last kiss and then the night was over. I got home, we talked some online then she disappeared. I worried of course as usual, but she came back and everything was ok. She said she was there the whole time at first I think or I got confused and asked and she said she wasn't. Anyways so we are talking now and all is good. I'm gone.
